If you want to be a doctor you go to medical school. But what if your deal is to be the next big thing in motorsports? Then you enroll at Octane Academy. We designed the high stakes reality racing series to push 24 aspiring race car drivers way past the limit. No pressure; all they were chasing was a shot at getting into the game for real. Thousands of drivers got off the couch and submitted video for a chance to get into a Ford Performance race car with Ken Block, Brian Deegan, Tanner Foust and Vaughn Gittin, Jr., who would be their mentors and tormentors on the track, in the dirt, and everywhere in between. The show ran on FOX the first season, moved to NBC for the second and spawned an IRL performance driving school. Season Two highlight? The winner was near-Kardashian Burt Jenner.
